High transparency high performance fumed silicone rubber
Product Introduction
FUSHITE silicone rubber is a kind of fumed grade HTV silicone rubber. It consist essentially of silicone polymers and fillers. It’s cured at high temperature.
Key features
It has good extrudability, high transparency and yellowing resistance, with smooth surface for the extruded silicone products.
Vulcanization method
It can be cured by peroxide as well as platinum.
If it is cured by platinum, it will show the higher transparency and higher mechanical properties.
Product parameters
Fushite offers two types of solid silicone rubber: FST-80 series and FST-70 series. They are all fumed grade silicone rubber. They can be processed by conventional methods, such as extrusions, compression and transfer molding, or injection molding. They cure in heat and are ideal for manufacturing a variety of silicone rubber products.
The products in the FST-80 series has the high grade of transparency, excellent physical properties & yellowing resistance and good processability, which is better than most of the fumed silicone rubber in the market.
The products in the FST-70 series have the higher transparency and namely outstanding mechanical properties combined with high productivity, which can be used to make ultra-high transparency LED light strips, medical grade tubes

The above data are based on the following measurements
Addition of curing agent: 2,5-Dimethyl-2,5-di(tert-butylperoxy)hexane
Test piece vulcanization condition: 175℃×5min, post-curing condition: 200℃×4h.
